Have you ever wakened in the morning after a great night’s rest, maybe a full 8 hours, sat up on the side of the bed and thought…..
I can’t do this.
Not again.
I want to lay back down and sleep.
I want to lay back down and not face the day.
I want to lay back down and Just. Stay. Here.
The world in general has changed so much in the past 2 years.
Maybe your world has changed even more.
We get weary, discouraged, sometimes disgruntled.
We hurt for friends who have experienced loss.
We feel depressed.
We’re afraid.
We feel unloved and not worthy of God’s love.
We feel overwhelmed.
In moments like these, remember God is still there with you. He’s not going anywhere.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
With faith in Jesus, you can overcome the obstacles in your life.
God has a plan for you, even if your current circumstances are proving difficult.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
Dealing with sadness or depression can be scary, but Isaiah 41:10 reminds you that with God on your side, there’s nothing to fear. You’ll find the strength you need to weather the storm by placing your trust in Him.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Weary traveler, restless soul
You were never meant to walk this road alone.
It’ll all be worth it so just hold on
Weary traveler, you won’t be weary long.
