God-Confident

The idea behind this devotional comes from the lyrics to “Confidence” by Sanctus Real.  How many of you are feeling the first words, “I’m not a warrior…I feel unqualified”?  Most of us feel like that.  Even the most secure person feels “unqualified” at times.  But what kind of people does God choose to use?  Broken people!  People who do not have it all together, who often feel defeated, discouraged, bullied, unfriended, insecure.  So, how do we get from feeling broken to having “Faith like Daniel, hope like Moses, a heart like David’s so we can face our giants with confidence”?  That’s what we’re going to figure out over the next 31 days:  How to fight our giants with GOD-CONFIDENCE.
