Can you name some summer Olympic sports?

There are a lot of them:

Swimming…

Equestrian…

Gymnastics…

Cycling…

Beach Volleyball…

Triathlon…

And many, many more.  Even some new ones are added this year like:

Skateboarding, baseball/softball, and karate.

What do ALL of the Olympic sports have in common?

Everyone is trying to reach a goal…to get the prize.   

The Apostle Paul said this:  “One thing I do; forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”      Philippians 3:13 & 14.

Good advice!  Focus on God…put the past behind…move forward toward the prize that will be given because we are in Christ Jesus.  Be an Olympian for Jesus!
