November has been a tough month for us at EG Ministries.
Saying goodbye to a family, daughters grew up in EG’s and mom served as a leader for many years, as they move to another state to be near their family
Hearing that 2 family members’ health is failing
The loss of a beloved pet
The loss of a brother, 79 years old
Loss of a young friend who served for many years as a leader in Explorer Girls and board member, 61 years old
Loss of a beloved professor, friend and adopted father
Loss of another friend who served in Explorer Girls for many years, 96 years old
Another who helped with special events and was always willing to serve in whatever way we needed, 102 years old
4 funerals in 1 week
We grieve for our loss and rejoice for their gain at the same time.
We know that those who are in pain, have a great Healer who is with them always.
We know that those who have passed are out of pain, walking with the Savior.
The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Let November be a month of thanksgiving. We have a Savior Who loves us. Do you know Him? He’s always available.
