The definition of LIGHT: an electro-magnetic radiation that is 
visible to the human eye and is responsible for the sense of sight.
Did you know?
- Nothing is faster than light! (By the time you say, “Wow! That’s great!” a light particle has traveled to the moon and back! 1.25 seconds to go 200,000 miles.)
- Light always travels in a straight path. Other things like water, mirrors, etc. can bend or redirect light, but light, in and of itself, can only travel in a straight path.
- Light is always present, it fills space! But, it can only be seen when it hits something. Outer space looks dark because there is virtually nothing for light to hit. When it does hit something, light allows us to see planets, stars, meteors, etc.
- When light hits something, it does one of three things: it bounces. It passes through. It is absorbed.
God is Light and in Him there is NO darkness at all! (1 John 1:5)

- When God “hits” or is introduced to someone, one of three things will happen:
- The person thinks, “Oh that’s nice” and the truth of God bounces off them.
- The person hears the truth of God, it changes them a little, maybe they will think before lying, or getting angry, or gossiping, but that’s about it- the truth passes through them but doesn’t really “stick.”
- The person hears the truth of God and with the help of the Holy Spirit, his life, his attitude, his actions, everything changes because God gets soaked up into their life!!!
