Thank you is a two-word phrase that speaks to one’s gratitude usually FOR something, or BECAUSE of something. It’s a REACTION to kindness. Kids are taught to say thank you at a very young age to anyone who has done something nice for them: Given them a toy, helped them with a project, fed them, etc. As we age, we understand that the words ‘thank you’ often are not enough to express our sincerest appreciation. We mature into using more than our words to verbalize our gratefulness. It’s in this move from words to actions that we begin to understand what being thankful is all about.
You see, being thankful isn’t what you think…
It’s not just an expression.
It’s not just in actions.
It’s not just a REACTION.
Being thankful is a lifestyle.
It’s how you live.
It is your ACTION.
Gratitude is how you worship, how you value others and treat your possessions.
Thankfulness is living in appreciation for EVERYTHING!
For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving… 1 Timothy 4:4
